--ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 ground beef
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. lasagna noodles
  • 1 Tbsp. salad oil
  • 2 (12 oz.) cartons cream
    style cottage cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. basil
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1 lb. mozzarella cheese,
    sliced very thin
  • 1 can tomatoes(2 1/2 cup)
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    (2/3 cup)

--instructions:
Brown meat in hot oil. Add garlic, parsley flakes, basil, salt, oregano, tomatoes, and tomato paste. Simmer uncovered until thick about 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Cook noodles in boiling water until tender. Drain; rinse in cold water.
Meanwhile, combine cottage cheese with eggs, salt, pepper, parsley flakes, and parmesan cheese. Place in baking dish as follows: Layer of noodles. Spread over cottage cheese mixture. Add layer of mozzarella cheese. Spread over meat mixture. repeat layers. Bake in a 375 oven for 30 minutes. Makes 12 servings.
